Born in Springs on October 17, 1953 to Freda (Perkes) and Harry Swersky. Springs was a mining town on the East Rand.

WITS - University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg

UNISA (further degree in Psychology by correspondence).

~ 1977 Moved into a nine person commune in Parktown. The place of some of his best memories. There were three Steve's so he took the nickname "Swaz". Stephen Segerman became "Sugar" and Steven Brivick became "Hugo".

His business Spectrum went public on South Africa stock exchange

Second child, Mitchell was born on May 18th, 1985

Third child, Lauren was born on October 8, 1991

Attended Henrietta Szold Nursery School for Preschool, Selcourt Primary School for Elementary, Springs Boy's High School.

Met Sue Solomon in December of 1974 at Johannesburg airport.

Sue and Swaz got married on December 27th, 1981 in Groote Constantia, Cape Town.

First child, Russel was born on July 14th, 1983

Immigrated to San Diego in July of 1989

November 1991, passed on to the next life
